Course Outline

All employers have a legal responsibility to provide employees with a safe and secure workplace. This responsibility includes providing adequate equipment and materials, providing competent co-workers, providing a safe system of work and providing proper training and supervision.

Personal injuries and accidents at work can have a major impact on a business in terms of both personnel absence and employer liability.

Course Objectives

This lunchtime seminar will cover a review of the law relating to employer's liability for the health and safety of their employees and guidance on handling and investigating accidents at work.

Target Audience / Entry Requirements

This seminar will be of particular interest to HR professionals, and those with a responsibility for health and safety.
