Short Courses - General
Enhanced Organisational Performance

Course Outline

Employees within an organisation should be appreciated as "value producing assets" who need effective and individual direction and leadership, if the degree of their value creation is to be maximised. All too often they are regarded as an unavoidable "cost of doing business" which must be controlled and micro-managed.

  • Business leaders must determine which measures are significant in enabling them to judge how their organisation is performing. Whilst financial indicators are clearly most important, supplementing this with appropriate qualitative data can provide a more complete picture.
  • For the organisation to improve its' performance overall, the contribution of each of its' employees must be maximised. There is a necessity for honest and objective performance appraisals for everyone and it is a leadership responsibility to ensure that this happens in a constructive and timely way.
