Simon Le Tocq

Chief Executive

Simon joined the GTA in 2008 as a Programmes Manager, and became Chief Executive in 2014. As Chief Executive Simon sets the overall strategic direction of the organisation working closely with the Chairman and Board of Directors. Before joining us, Simon had been working in higher education for more than a decade lecturing for a number of different universities in the UK and abroad. Simon has a BA in English Literature; MA in Applied Linguistics for Language Teaching and an MBA. Simon's top tip for learning & development? "Set yourself goals. Goals help you identify what you want to achieve and people who set goals are more likely to achieve success."

Michelle Morley

Head of Programmes

Michelle joined the GTA in June 2016. Her primary responsibilities include developing learning and development opportunities for the finance sector, as well as looking after our Director Development portfolio. Prior to joining the GTA Michelle ran her own consultancy specialising in sales, marketing and customer service, drawing on her years of experience working in management and business development roles. Michelle has a BA in French and German and has experience of teaching English as a foreign language. Interesting fact about Michelle? After finishing her studies she spent two years working as a holiday rep and ski guide in Europe.

Kate Lenfestey

Head of University Programmes

Kate joined the GTA in 2003 and is currently responsible for managing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, liaising with several universities in England to deliver their courses in Guernsey. Kate is also the company secretary for the business, managing our corporate governance, data protection and human resources. After graduating university Kate worked for several years in an HR function within the States of Guernsey before joining the GTA. Qualified as ACIS, Kate also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Digital Marketing.

Kate Sole

Programmes Manager

After graduating university with a teaching qualification Kate taught for a short while in Scotland before returning to the island and working in the finance and IT industries. Kate’s primary responsibilities at the GTA include developing learning and development opportunities in the IT, digital, sales and marketing sectors.

Julie Loveridge

Service Delivery Manager

Julie joined the GTA after working in finance within funds and Private Equity in client focused roles for over 15 years. Before finance, Julie managed Beau Sejour’s trading areas for over 8 years, gaining the valuable experience of the importance of driving a customer centric business. Julie has a passion for delivering operational excellence and exceptional customer experience, an important part of Julie’s role today at the GTA. Julie started her journey at the GTA as a Programme Manager working within the finance portfolio. Julie’s role within the business is now to oversee the Service Delivery and the Facilities team, which is a vital part of the delegate’s customer journey within the GTA. Interesting fact about Julie? She is a qualified dog groomer and runs a dog grooming business with her husband called 'Radders Retreat'.

Adam Martel

Service Delivery Team Leader

Adam is passionate about providing first-class service to the GTA’s customers. He leads our Service Delivery Team by applying his extensive skills and experience in logistics, administration, and marketing. Adam has a photographic memory and is tenacious, energetic, hard-working, and totally focused on supporting everyone in the GTA to deliver the best experience to our delegates and tutors. Adam has recently become a MOE certified coach and has also completed his PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner qualifications.

Kelly Le Prevost

Exams Manager & Service Delivery Administrator

After completing her degree in Photography at Southampton Solent University, Kelly continued to live in the UK and worked in recruitment for construction, gaining experience in administration, personnel, event planning and marketing & rebranding. After 4 years Kelly returned to Guernsey and continued to work in recruitment before starting her role at the GTA.

Julie Eaton

Service Delivery Administrator

Julie joined the GTA in early 2017, having worked in hospitality and recruitment in the UK and Guernsey for 20 years. She brings flawless administration, communication and customer-service skills to her part-time role in our busy Service Delivery Team. Always cheerful, kind, good-humored and professional, Julie is a huge asset to our dynamic team.

Joanne Chippendale

Service Delivery Administrator & Facilities Team

Jo joined the GTA Facilities Team in December 2017. Her primary responsibilities are to extend a warm welcome to our delegates and tutors as they arrive at the GTA, and to ensure our training facilities are suitable for them. She also helps maintain the cleanliness and comfort of our training suites and delegate lounge. From September 2018 Jo also now supports the Service Delivery Administration Team. Prior to joining the GTA Jo worked extensively in customer service roles within the local finance industry. She has also worked as an auxiliary nurse and healthcare assistant. Interesting fact about Jo? She is happiest when she’s outdoors – particularly if she’s horse riding, swimming, or surfing!

Nathan Langlois

Service Delivery Facilities Team

Nathan joined the GTA Facilities Team in January 2015. His primary responsibilities are looking after our tutors and delegates whilst here training at the GTA, and to ensure our training facilities are suitable for them. Nathan also is responsible for looking after equipment and regularly PAT tests to ensure everything fully complies. In his free time he enjoys cooking and brings into the GTA office on occasion.

Tina Torode

NED Development Programme Co-ordinator

Tina has over 30 years experience in the finance industry in Guernsey, Jersey and London across multiple sectors including Banking, Custody, Fiduciary, Funds and Investments. Tina has extensive experience of working in back, middle and front office roles and for the past 4 years, through Optimus Group Limited, she has been a consultant to financial services businesses. Tina particularly enjoys working with the NEDs to assist them with the promotion of good corporate governance and is currently supporting the GTA with the NED Development Programme.

Janine Lane

IiP Consultant

Janine has worked in Learning and Development for over 15 years and is a keen advocate for continued learning and working with best practice utilising the Investors in People framework. Janine is extremely focused on making a difference with people and has led numerous businesses to achieve both the Investors in People Gold and Silver awards. Her work at the GTA will build upon this experience and advise companies of the benefit in using the IiP Framework. As a Fellow of CIPD, Janine continues to focus on supporting all around her on “Championing better work and working lives”. She is extremely committed to helping individuals/businesses with their continuous professional development and employee engagement.
