The MOE Foundation were introduced to the GTA by an enthusiastic former delegate which led to us hosting their Certified Coach training course.
The Need
The MOE (Ministry of Entrepreneurship) Foundation is a registered charity focused on challenging society’s ‘poverty mindset’. They do this by providing a supportive network, training, development, coaching, mentoring and leadership/entrepreneurial initiatives to enable people to make the best of their situation. They currently operate in Guernsey, London, Manchester, and Tanzania. They contacted us as they were looking for a suitable venue to host their 5-day Certified Coach training course.
The Solution
The GTA believes that training should be accessible to all, so we were happy to give The MOE Foundation free use of our training facilities for the duration of the 5-day course. In addition we sponsored the catering and refreshments offered to the 14 delegates attending the course to enhance their enjoyment and sustain their energy.
The Impact
This support helped enable the charity’s continued efforts to make their training accessible to any suitable candidates, regardless of their financial situation. MOE Foundation’s leadership coach, Tony Phillips, facilitated the training course. Following the first 3-days of the course he sent us the following message:
“A massive thank you from me personally, and also from the MOE Foundation, for the fantastic experience all of us (me, the training team and the participants) had in your superb venue last week. Even more than the venue, the helpfulness, attitude, and positivity of every single person from the GTA with whom I came into contact was exemplary, a model of service that totally aligns with the philosophies and principles of MOE. I'm really looking forward to the second part of the course in November 2017 to continue enabling the breakthroughs of our participants, enhanced by your venue and staff.”
