Tutor Profile

Helen Hatton

Helen is the Managing Director of BDO Sator Regulatory Consulting.

Widely recognized as the prime architect of the modern Jersey regulatory regime, Helen Hatton resigned as Deputy Director General of the Jersey Financial Services Commission in May 2009, having led the implementation of regulatory development in the island from its blacklisted state in 1999 to achieving one of the world’s best IMF evaluation results, to establish Sator Regulatory Consulting Limited.

Mrs Hatton is a Fellow of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Banking Regulation and member of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers. She is a recognised international speaker on regulatory compliance topics and regularly publishes papers on regulatory matters. She is also founder of KYC Worldwide Limited, a ground breaking intelligence business.

Peter Warrell

Peter is the Head C5 Alliance’s Business Intelligence Team, which provides data centric solutions for a wide range of clients from analysis and design through to delivery.

He has over 20 years’ experience within the IT industry. In this time, Peter has provided solutions for the finance sector, local government plus suppliers of HR & payroll software using a variety of technologies, engaging with stakeholders at all levels of business.

For the past 10 years, Peter has specialised in SQL Server based solutions. He has developed numerous data centric solutions mostly in regulated environments, most recently working with large financial institutions on solutions for FATCA/CRS, Beneficial Ownership and GDPR.
