Are we human after all? – Introduction to Investors in People

This session will bring together “What makes high-performing organisations different? How are they impacting and engaging with their teams? We want to bring together knowledge and experience we have gained from working with high-performing organisations with Investors in People accreditation. We will highlight what has made them that way and will provide practical examples which will assist businesses to “stay human”. Working with people is never easy and often we think “our way” is the best way.

Join us for breakfast to hear about how Investors in People can help your business focus on the key people activities that make a huge difference. You will leave with some top tips that can make a difference and have an insight into how Investors in People can help your business.

Tutor Profile

Janine Mayor (Lane) is an experienced Learning & Development practitioner, a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD; Janine has been driving change and continuous improvement, with over 18 years’ in People Development and 12 years of working with the Investors in People framework.

As a Business Partner in Learning & Development, Janine has held a variety of L & D roles including leading teams on learning and development, performance management, internal communications and employee engagement.

Many of her roles have involved transforming cultures, developing and implementing L & D strategies and championing change; Janine is motivated to ensure that development is at the heart of the people strategy. Janine works as part of the International HR team at Nedbank Private Wealth who are in the Top 100 Best Companies to work for, Investors in People Gold and a Platinum Partner in the STEP Employer Partnership Programme.
