Course Summary

This online training module has been designed by legal and design experts to help every member of staff understand the major aspects and legal requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and the equivalent Data Protection laws in Guernsey and Jersey. By the end of the module, it is hoped that you will be able to apply this understanding – to make informed, compliant decisions when collecting, storing and processing people’s personal data as part of daily work activities.

Introduction

This GDPR and Channel Islands Data Protection online module has been designed to inform all personnel, at all levels, across all industry sectors, who come into contact with personal data about the major aspects and legal requirements of the legislation.

Enrolled employees can access the module on TPE’s Learning Management System via the company portal and company administrators can record and report on staff training. Or, you can host and administer the training via your own LMS.
