Mindfulness at Work

Course Summary

An introduction to mindfulness with practical exercises that can easily be practised in any workplace.

Introduction

Mindfulness has gone mainstream! Suddenly the West has cottoned on to what Eastern philosophies have been saying for millennia – sitting still, doing nothing and clearing our heads is really good for us! Trouble is, like eating 5-a-day, regular exercise and limiting alcohol units, we know we “should” be doing this stuff but how on earth do we find the time to add yet another thing to our already packed schedules? This short introduction course provides practical tools to both aid the health and wellbeing agenda, while also pointing the way to how practising mindfulness can help us be better at our jobs - all in just 10 minutes a day!

Topics

In this practical introduction to Mindfulness at Work, designed to fit in with our full-on 21st Century lifestyles, we will cover: -

  • What is Mindfulness?
  • Why is it good for our health and wellbeing?
