We at the GTA are involved with the local charity Every Child our Future (ECOF) who have a reading initiative at Vauvert Primary School. Every Tuesday morning we share the responsibility of visiting Vauvert school for an hour to help the  Year 1 students with their reading.

Our team comprises of  Sarah Elliott, Kate Sole, Kate Lenfestey, Simon Le Tocq and Duncan Spencer who all relish the opportunity to take time out of their busy schedules to spend time working with and watching the children learn. It is a great reminder for all of us on how important it is to keep learning at the heart of what we do here at the GTA.

This morning, we received some amazing feedback,  the group of children we have been working with over the past few terms have moved up to a new reading level, we are extremely proud of the year 1 students as it means that our time is well spent, and  the help, time, encouragement and support we have given helps them to grow and develop their reading skills.  We are thrilled to hear this news, and we now have a  new group of students to work with, which is a really rewarding result for us.

We are delighted to share this news, as it shows we can all make a difference when we work and support each other and  just how important learning is to us all.
