The GTA are delighted to announce that Heimdallr Solutions Ltd will be delivering a series of courses this autumn addressing a key training issue and one of the hottest topics on the island at the moment “cybercrime”. This follows recent reports in the local news that businesses in Guernsey are being warned about a group of cyber criminals targeting the island’s companies.
Guernsey Police say the ‘highly sophisticated’ criminals were unsuccessful in their attempts but companies that rely on using the internet should make sure they have a good level of cyber security. If cyber criminals were to penetrate systems, it could bring down vital businesses.
These courses are designed to gain a good overall understanding of the topics, with discussions centred around real life experiences that Jim Ponsonby and Will Hughes, Directors of Heimdallr Solutions Ltd, have faced in their careers. Will and Jim together have 50 years of operational experience working with government departments, law enforcement, military and intelligence agencies in over 60 countries worldwide.
