Mindful Leadership

We are excited to launch a brand new course developed and delivered by local leaders for local leaders: ‘Mindful Leadership – using neuroscience to increase emotional intelligence, wellbeing and performance‘ (21-22 March 2018).

This innovative two day course is delivered by Jon Buckland and Chris Robilliard and draws on the latest neuroscience evidence. It will reveal how mindfulness practice can improve your emotional intelligence and in turn enhance your performance, develop your leadership capabilities and improve your wellbeing. You will come away with a range of tools and techniques that you can immediately put to use to:

  • Reduce stress
  • Improve effectiveness
  • Increase focus
  • Manage distractions
  • Increase your happiness
  • Make life better
  • Increase your positive connection to others

What will be covered?
Highly practical with a particular focus on the implementation of what works for you, this course ensures that the most appropriate techniques become habits. We cover 4 main areas:
1. Neuroscience: an introduction to emotion, perception and behaviour change.
2. Practical attention training: to build self-awareness, self-management, motivation and connection with others.
3. Healthy mental habits: discover new approaches for promoting wellbeing including effective listening, empathy, kindness and social skills.
4. Mindfulness practice: lay the foundations that will support happiness, stellar performance and outstanding leadership.
