We are working with local businesses to develop an Academy for school leavers and new entrants to the workplace to help equip them with the skills, behaviours and competencies that they require when starting a new job for the first time.
The programme will be called ‘WOW’ (World of Work) Academy. With local companies helping to co-create the format of the programme, the content will reflect the needs of industry and benefit the students by easing their transition into the work place.
