NEDS have the same legal duties, responsibilities and potential liabilities as other directors on the board, so it is important that you are fully aware of these.
Course Content
During this course you will cover many areas, including:
- Director responsibilities and liabilities
- AML/CFT responsibilities
- Anti-bribery and corruption
- Specific NED responsibilities and duties
- Corporate governance
There will be discussions around the latest cases and also any recent developments with the financial services industry in Guernsey or further afield, that will affect us locally.

Emma Mauger, TEP,Dip (ITM), FICA, Int.dip (COMP), Int.dip (AML), Int.dip (FinCrime). Emma has over 20 years’ experience in the Guernsey financial sector and is one of only a handful of people worldwide to hold all three ICA Diplomas delivered via Manchester University: ICA International Diploma in Compliance, in Financial Crime Prevention and in Anti Money Laundering. In addition Emma is a fully qualified STEP member, a certified GDPR Practitioner and a member of the Institute of Directors.
