Course Overview

This practical and engaging half‑day course will provide managers with the knowledge and confidence to lead inclusive teams and uphold organisational and legal responsibilities relating to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).

The course blends legal context, organisational expectations, leadership behaviours and practical strategies for managing teams with varying levels of commitment to EDI.

Delegates will leave with a clear understanding of how to model inclusive practice and support a culture where all colleagues and stakeholders feel valued.

The course will cover the following topics:

  • Legal duties and organisational expectations around EDI
  • What managers are accountable for in promoting inclusion
  • Modelling inclusive practice through everyday language and behaviour
  • Leadership approaches that strengthen Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
  • Supporting individuals and teams who show limited engagement with EDI
